Camp, Shirts & Tour Dates, Oh My!

Agh! There's so much to cover today, Strongies, and all of it's just terribly exciting! ...to me anyways. ;) Hopefully it is for you, too. We've got retreat updates, goodie announcements, the final cities of The Strong Inside Out Tour (Boston, NYC & Austin!) to cover, and of course a little vulnerability to share from my side of things.

Nerding Out

cnfIn just 2 days, I'm leaving on a jet plane (ok, maybe it's a commercial airliner, but it sounds way cooler saying, "jet plane") to Atlanta for... drum roll please... Camp Nerd Fitness!I am beyond honored to be one of the teachers at this amazing event, and can't voice just how excited I am to be a part of it. In addition to teaching my bootcamp, I'll be leading two workshops covering depression and exercise, and body image and self-esteem. That's my bag!Just 3 years ago, I was only a fan of Nerd Fitness. I'd never met Steve and I didn't know anything about blogging except how to read them. It's amazing how different your life can be after just a few short years. :)I can't wait to geek out in the middle of the woods in my superhero costume (pictures to come on Instagram) with a bunch of like-minded fitness nerds. I'll report back here when I get back!

The shirt off on your back

Another announcement that's been in the works for the last few months: T-shirts are now available! I worked with the Studio 1 Design and Success Shirt team over the past few months to produce a shirt that I thought was worthy of the strength and power of each and every Strongie here.May I present to you, the official shirt of Strong Inside Out!SuccessShirt-Unleash

Available in both a men's shirt and a more fitted ladies' version, this rad print captures the hope and fire that we were hoping for in our premier piece of clothing.Huge thanks to Greg Merrilees for going back and forth with me about my very picky tastes when it comes to shirt design. ;)

Strong Inside Out Bootcamp

sio_bootcamp_header_mailchimp_600The Bootcamp is going amazingly well. We've had a few hiccups technically, but we've recovered from those and are already looking to expand the insides to include even more personalization components like journaling and accountability right there within the bootcamp. You are more than welcome to join us (at any time). After wrapping up our very first Group Coaching Call for Rise Up (the track that covers depression and lack of motivation) this weekend, I sat at my desk with a huge smile on my face,  just soaking up the feeling of utter fulfillment. Every one of us left that call invigorated, empowered and hopeful, which was beautiful considering the reason we're all in that mindset track in the first place. You know that feeling when you know you're doing something right? After every Facebook interaction, call or program update within the Bootcamp, I feel more and more sure that all these years of Strong Inside Out have been leading up to this program. In fact, I've put every other program on hold to allow me to focus everything into this one. It's the natural progression of this movement to inspire hope through movement. If you or anyone you know could use a supportive group of people who are ready to make a change, and the tools to make that change happen, please send them to Strong Inside Out Bootcamp. I really hope to help them through the transition.Click here for more info about our mindset-based workout program.

YOUR TOWN?

I want to invite you for the last time to get in touch with me about bringing Strong Inside Out to your city. We have the budget for one more city in November, and I want to hear from you within the next two weeks. If I don't, it's ok–I'll use that amount to make the existing events even more awesome.Honesty time, Strongies. When we first set out to do the Tour this year, we budgeted for 10 cities. We've since gone over budget on a few of them due to a few factors for which we didn't foresee:

  1. We couldn't book my plane ticket until we knew we had the money from the IndieGoGo campaign, which left us only a couple weeks out for a few cities which meant plane tickets were double their going rate.
  2. The summer has proven difficult for bootcamp attendance, which means we've been needing every penny and more from each event just to break even.
  3. We just didn't know what to expect with this very different structure of this year's tour.

With these upcoming 3 epic bootcamps, I hope to make up for what we've lost over the summer, but I hope you understand if we have to make this tour an 8 or 9-stop one instead of 10. I'm putting my everything into this final month of the SIO Tour and the Bootcamp because I know we can help people all over the world start and keep moving with this online platform and support system. That said, I'm even more clear on where we're going as a community than I've ever been, Strongies. I can't wait to take the rest of this journey right next to you.Stay strong,Amy
