Achieve Your Goals Piece of Cake [+ video]
This whole post is also available in video format! Click the video above, or view it on YouTube by clicking here.On Monday, we talked about how change sucks, but how it doesn't have to suck so bad. Today, I want to offer you some inspiration and motivation to keep pushing through the tough stuff so that you can finally live your life on purpose. So let's visit 3 different tactics that you can take to get out of the difficult mindset, and help you achieve your goals with the piece of cake mindset.
1. Remember The Last Time You Succeeded
Remember when you thought you couldn't and you did. It's happened before, and I bet it felt a lot like this. But you pushed through and your effort led you to success, and it will again. Hang in there!
2. It's Uncomfortable for A Reason
Remember that it's difficult because you're resetting your baseline- if it were comfortable, you'd be changed by now! Know that this struggle needs to happen right now. It's going to be like this for a little bit, but it will get easier!
3. Reminder Sprinkling
Sticking with your goals is a cinch when you sprinkle reminders throughout your day. Even if you're the only one who sees them or uses them, little reminders that will root you back into your WHY can be oh-so helpful.Have your inspirational Pinterest board open in a tab while you work, and glance at it every time your brain starts focusing on the sucky parts.Call a supportive friend who can give you a quick pep talk.Go after your goals as a group, like we're doing in The Fire Up Challenge! Group support amplifies the accountability aspect of goal-setting, making each goal you set that much more effective!
If you want to join our 1-month challenge, it starts on Monday, February 24th. It's completely free to join and you'll get emails 3x/week with specific homework that guides you to goal-setting success.
You'll probably have questions along the way, so I'm super psyched to be hosting Google Hangouts for challengers every Thursday during the challenge at 12 noon Pacific Time.
We're sorry, but The Fire Up Challenge has concluded. Sign up to receive regular emails so you get notified the next time we have a free challenge![gravityform id="8" title="true" description="true"]So I hope that helps out with a little mindset reframing for you all today. Start refocusing on your whys and away from your discomfort, and you'll achieve those goals, piece of cake.See you next week, Strongies!Stay strong,Amy
