If you’re coming over from Tiny Buddha, welcome! I’m so happy to have you as part of the Strong Inside Out community!
It is an honor to have my guest post up on a site that is spreading such a noble message.
If you haven’t yet checked out my guest post, please do and let me know what you think! Chock full of actionable steps, Happy Is As Happy Does: Make Your Own Joy In Life covers why it’s so important to take action to realize your happiness, and the simplest way to start doing so.
If you like my latest guest post, leave me a comment over there! I’ve even got a bonus for those of you who do:
Out of all the people who comment on my Tiny Buddha guest post (be sure to leave me a post here saying you have done so), I will choose at random one lucky reader to receive my upcoming book for FREE!
It’s coming soon, and my blood, sweat and tears in the form of a deliciously-designed ebook could be yours absolutely free of charge. All you gotta do is leave me your thoughts!
The winner will be chosen next Monday, June 4th, and announced right here on my site!
As soon as you’re done, though, head back over. I have some more thoughts to share with you.
Go ahead… I’ll wait. ;)
I saw a video that made me quite emotional today.
Why did it have such an effect on me?
Because the subject matter is very close to my heart.
Everything I have now would have been wasted. Everything I am now would be void.
Every word, thought, feeling I’ve shared with you would never have touched your screen. I never would have made you think. I never would have made you smile. I never would have–if even for a moment–changed your state of being, your day, maybe even your life.
The reason I bring all this up is not to make you realize how incredibly important I am (because I am not at all trying to say that), but rather to show you that if I have had any sort of impact on you, think of all the potential lying in those who feel like giving up right now.
I once thought it was all over. I thought I had nothing to offer anyone.
But now I’m here, trying to inspire people to recognize their happiness across the world.
Do you know someone like this?
I wish I could share this moving video with every person that has ever felt helpless, hopeless, unsupported or otherwise unhappy with the way things are.
If you know anyone that needs some extra motivation today, please share this with them. I wish I had found this organization back when I was struggling. (hint hint: you’ll be hearing more about them soon)
An Exciting Beginning
If you have been reading my posts for a while, you know that I am bubbly, happy, disinterested in what other people think of me, and driven by fun, meaning and passion. Lululemon, the workout brand that made the ultimate Spanx-like workout pants for women (thank you!), echoes these sentiments in their manifesto.
Lululemon’s philosophy is much like my own: live, breathe, be happy, do good, and don’t take yourself too seriously.
It is with great pride and excitement that I announce the beginning of something great…
On Thursday, June 7th at 6:15 pm, I’ll be working with Lululemon’s Run Club in Brentwood, Los Angeles to host a run followed by a body-blasting 30-minute bootcamp! The best part?
My partner in crime, Andrea Speir, and I will be formulating a bodyweight full-body workout that lengthens and strengthens. We’re combining HIIT and pilates so that you’ll be sure to be ready for that bikini/obnoxiously-tiny-speedo when July 4th rolls around. Check out my super-awesome trainer page here!
I’m thrilled to be working with the team over at Lululemon and really hope you can join us on Thursday! If you’re planning to come, please let me know here in the comments so that I can say hi!
If you’re not in LA, don’t fret: I have some videos in the works that I’ll be posting very soon!
Change is in the air, guys. I can’t wait to share everything I’ve been up to with you very soon.
Until then, stay tuned and make sure you’re on the email list to stay in the know and get an awesome deal on the upcoming book!
Have a great weekend, friends.
